Firecracker 5K Evening Run

This race was run on June 2, 2009. This was a an evening run sponsored by The City of San Marcos and the San Marcos Runners Club. It was a flat, even course, but the high temperature for the day had been 102 degrees. Over two hundred runners turned out for the event. Justin Kistner and I photographed the event.

Blanco Graffiti 02

This is more graffiti from Blanco. Although most people associate graffiti with the cities, it does occur in small towns. This graffiti was located under a bridge which seems to be a common place for it.

Intersection of Pecan Street and 3rd Street in Blanco. Go 1/2 block south on Pecan Street to the bridge. The graffiti is under the bridge. 30 05.786' N 98 25.310' W
